The
Tillamook City Council has approved a list of overarching goals for the
City of Tillamook, along with a long-range strategic plan and policies
to define the responsibilities of the City Council and city staff.
The purpose
of these strategies, goals and policies is to ensure that the city
continuously moves forward in its service to the citizens of Tillamook
and that each branch of city government performs as it should to
achieve the best possible result.
The City Council’s adopted goals are as follows:
Goal 1: Promote quality of life through safe city, schools and streets; Goal 2: Managed growth and economic development; Goal 3: Affordable, quality housing and infrastructure; Goal 4: A clean, attractive outdoor living environment; Goal 5: A city workplace that encourages employees and rewards their creativity and innovation; Goal 6: Effective local, state, and regional partnerships and Goal 7: Long-term financial stability.
