Public Health Services

In general, services related to public health and building safety are performed by the County of Tillamook. These include:

  • Building code enforcement
  • Flood information
  • Disaster planning and management
  • Environmental health.

The county’s Environmental Health Department services include: inspection of licensed facilities (restaurants, hotels, pools, spas, camps, RV parks), investigation of food-borne illnesses and communicable diseases, investigation of animal bites, and providing services to public water systems to increase compliance with drinking water rules.

The county also operates a public health clinic that offers medical case management, dental, disease prevention and educational programs.
