Public Meetings

Attending public meetings is one of the best ways to learn about your city government and to stay informed about important isssues facing the city.

Tillamook encourages every citizen to attend as many meetings as possible and to contribute their good ideas. Most public meetings include a place on the agenda for public comment, and public hearings are designed to gather input from the public on a wide range of issues.

Times and topics are posted at City Hall, in local media and on the Web site. You need not be an expert or highly knowledgable to attend or take part in the public process. This is your government and your birthright as a citizen.

You may take a look at City Council and Planning Commission schedules and read minutes of past meetings here. And city staff are always ready and willing to answer questions about any subject of concern to you.
