Administration
The Public Works Administration staff, including the Director, Assistant Director, Executive Assistant, and Project Manager, oversees planning, coordinating, and managing city infrastructure projects. Streets & Parks Division
The Streets & Parks Division is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving the city's streets, sidewalks, parks, and public spaces. Their duties include street cleaning, pothole repairs, snow removal, and the upkeep of recreational areas, trails, and public facilities to enhance the community’s quality of life. The division manages the city's parks, including Goodspeed Park, Carnahan Park, Coatsville Park, Sue H. Elmore Park, Dean Memorial Wayside Park, Ironworks Bark Park, Pioneer Park, and the Hoquarton Slough Interpretive Trail. With a focus on safety and accessibility, the division ensures the longevity of the city's roadways and public spaces for all to enjoy.
Wastewater Treatment Division
The Wastewater Treatment Division operates and maintains the City’s Class 4 Wastewater Treatment Facility, sewer collection system, and associated lift stations. The division ensures compliance with stringent state and federal environmental regulations, focusing on safeguarding public health and the environment. Through regular monitoring and maintenance, the division provides the efficient treatment of wastewater and the safe disposal of effluent while also managing the infrastructure required for wastewater transport.
Water Treatment Division
The Water Treatment Division is dedicated to maintaining the city’s water treatment facility and protecting the quality of the water supply.
